Version 4.1 live!

Our latest version 4.1 of the ASK app is live on the Apple App Store now. The Android version is about to follow shortly.
With this release we made a major step towards a more advanced system with lots of additional functionality. We have streamlined the way reminders are included in projects and there is the option now to remind participants after a certain time of inactivity. Further features are randomisation of questions in a pool of questions, control over what task is presented to the participant when and under what circumstances, highlighting of missing data entries and user-features which allow you to customize a task to the specific need of a user (e.g. different instructions for different age groups). Try it out!

All new version 4.0 coming up!

After a couple of months of hard work, we’re very close to releasing a new version of ASK. Version 4.0 allows to take a lot of control over the way tasks are presented to your participants. You can include icons and images to make your taks easily identifiable and appealing. A new flow control system now helps to ensure that tasks are presented, highlighted and completed according to your plans. The new layout and highlighting helps to guide the user to the things they should tend to next and makes ASK easier to use. There are also several new functions that we’ll introduce soon. Look out for ASK Version 4.0.

Additional functionality and new project

In the beginning of 2015 we started developing ask even further. The reason is the beginning of a new project with researchers from the university of Amsterdam. We expect to release an updated version of ask in early spring. New features will include more control of what tasks are shown to the participants and when.

Updated Version 3.2 on the Apple App Store

We are proud to announce the release of our updated version of ask on the Apple App Store. It contains several improvements like a history tab that shows participants all the tasks they have completed, ordered by date. We also introduced additional functionality to our questionnaires that can now display custom images in order to give your questionnaires a more professional and personal look.

Have a look and try it out!

Successful first 100 days!

Since our start in early 2014 with our primary project “ask” has made a lot of progress. We completed our iPhone and Android version 1.0 which allows to administer questionnaire based tasks and download the results on our webportal as *.csv. Version 2.0 which has extended functionality for our pilot project with the LMU clinic is close to completion. We are planning to start the beta-testing phase in the next few weeks.
