Founded in early 2014 sum-it is developing smart solutions using mobile technology for modern research. Our lead-project ask is tailored for mobile data collection and delivery of tasks on mobile devices. Read more about it in “how ask works”.

Stephan Schmidt

After graduating in 2011 in electrical engineering at the Technische Universität München, Stephan worked as a research assistant for a year before he started working on quality assurance for the BMW Group since 2012.

Dr. Ulrich Weber

Dr. Ulrich Weber

Ulrich trained as a physicist at LMU München where he graduated in 2005. He then went on to do his PhD at the University of Oxford in computational physics. After working as a consultant and teacher he moved to Munich where Ulrich has been working on software and system architecture for the BMW Group since 2012.

Matthias Freundel

Matthias Freundel

Matthias graduated in 2011 in computer science at the University of Karlsruhe (KIT). He then worked as software developer in the automotive industry at the Audi AG an the BMW Group. In 2014 he began working as research assistent at the Fraunhofer-Institut in Stuttgart.
